Neural network model for rolling bearings faults diagnosis based on the linear prediction method

Rolling bearings are important elements of many mechanical systems, and their failure causes great losses. Modern methods for state diagnosing of rolling bearings most often use complex algorithms for extracting features from the vibration signals of bearings and powerful, deep, ensemble classifiers for training on these features of large dimensions. The disadvantages of such approaches are computational complexity and the need for a large data set to train a powerful model, which is not always possible in industrial conditions. The approach proposed in this article, on the contrary, selects only a few linear prediction coefficients as features and uses the simplest neural network to classify them. It is shown that the proposed algorithm, despite its simplicity, gives almost 100% accuracy in all experiments and is inferior to its powerful counterparts. The well-known datasets of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and Intelligent Maintenance Systems (IMS) were taken to test the algorithm.

Instrument complex for training aircraft crews

Information on the purpose, structure and principle of operation of the instrument complex for training aircraft crews, developed and used for therapeutic and preventive purposes for the adaptation of aircraft crews to hypobaric hypoxia, is presented. The method of control of this complex and its technical characteristics are given.

Increasing the precision of the voltage-to-current measure converters

A study of the circuit models of a voltage-to-current converters has been carried out. The circuit with an amplifier in a feedback circuit is converted to a standard output signal of 4...20 mA. In order to increase the accuracy and output resistance, a voltage repeater is introduced into the feedback circuit.

Automatic correction system of the adaptive mirror tilt angle

An automatic tilt angle correction system is required for the correct operation of the adaptive mirror operating under conditions of laser radiation propagation through the atmosphere. The article discusses an automatic tilt angle correction system of an adaptive mirror, which includes a tilt angle generator, a tilt sensor, a control unit, an amplifier, a delay link and a tilt corrector. We propose to prepare the reflective surface of an adaptive mirror based on the prediction of the state of the wavefront at the next moment in time to implement the adaptive correction. A comparative analysis of the quality of the system with and without the correction algorithm, based on the obtained time responses, was carried out.

Precise measurement of bulk elastic waves propagation time to determine the hardening characteristics of stainless steels

The results of the study of uniaxial static tension of steel 12Kh18N10T by the methods of acoustic and eddy current testing are presented. The dependences of elastic and electromagnetic characteristics on the value of plastic deformation are obtained. The effect of loading temperature on the character of steel hardening has been studied.

Change in the parameter of acoustic anisotropy in the base metal and heat affected zone of structural steel under fatigue and plastic deformation

Precise measurements of the propagation time of elastic waves make it possible to carry out quantitative changes in structurally sensitive parameters, for example, the acoustic anisotropy parameter, which is sensitive to the evolution of the crystallographic texture and the accumulation of microdamages in the process of force loading of the metal.

In this work, ultrasonic and metallographic studies of samples from the base metal and the zone of thermal influence of structural steel St3sp5 under uniaxial tension and low-cycle fatigue were carried out. Microstructural changes were studied using an optical microscope. The development of stable slip bands in the base metal and the zone of thermal influence was revealed. The acoustic anisotropy parameter was measured by the ultrasonic echo-pulse method. It was found that under uniaxial tension, the acoustic anisotropy parameter in the base metal and the zone of thermal influence changes monotonically; for the zone of thermal influence during fatigue tests, the acoustic anisotropy parameter changes non-monotonically to a value of 0.3 and then decreases monotonically. Based on the relationship between the relative number of cycles to failure, or the plasticity resource, and the acoustic anisotropy parameter, it is possible to assess the degree of damage.

Photonics-2022. World of lasers and optics

The article gives a brief description of the equipment presented at the international specialized exhibition of laser, optical and optoelectronic equipment. Exhibitors from 10 countries took part in the exhibition. Russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers demonstrated a wide range of optical equipment that provides solutions to problems in medicine, ecology, scientific research, mechanical engineering and other industries. The exhibition was aimed at familiarizing Russian specialists with advanced developments in the field of lasers, medical equipment, laser markers, photoacoustic gas analyzers, laser vision systems, terahertz spectrometry, lidars and other tools for industry, test centers and production laboratories.
