Measurement system for monitoring the value of small magnetic fields. Part 2. Remote measurements
The article deals with the measurement of the magnetic field, Formed by pipeline defect, against the background of interfering magnetic fields of the Earth and the pipeline. Possibilities of solving the measurement problem are considered, when the measured value and interfering fields differ significantly from each other in the magnitude of induction and have different frequency properties.
Keywords: measurement system, pipeline, defect, magnetic field, magnetic induction, method of compensation, intelligent sensor.

Circuitry for restoring the input signal of an inertial measuring transducer
The article proposes a method for restoring the original measured signal after the action of a measuring transducer with certain dynamic properties based on a circuit solution using double integration inside a negative feedback loop. The results of modeling the restoration for various types of measured signals are presented.
Keywords: dynamic measurements, input signal recovery, measuring transducer.

Circuit engineering of electronic devices of marker topographic technology
The paper considers technological issues of assessing the corrosion state of underground utilities. Taking into account their total length in the Russian Federation and their average age, the assessment task is relevant, while the main attention in the work is paid to the technology of constructing topographic maps of underground utilities, which are the initial information recording potential hazardous areas. The main attention in the work is paid to the circuitry of constructing universal devices of marker topographic technology, which impoverishes the functions of a marker detector and a route locator. Solutions are proposed, a distinctive feature of which is the circuitry of induction converters that implement both the main functions of topographic analysis of underground utilities and marker search, and additional ones when measuring the depth of the utility and indicating the direction of the test current. The circuitry is based on applied solutions based on phase methods of signal processing with appropriate algorithms.
Keywords: marker detector, communications, route finder, receiver, generator, synchronous detector, phase methods.

Study of patent activity in the Russian Federation and identification of trends in optical characteristics of lenses in the field of infrared instrumentation
A study of patent activity in the Russian Federation was conducted to identify trends in optical characteristics of lenses for infrared instrumentation using special methods of technical and patent analysis, including patent analytics tools such as patent landscape instruments. The research was based on the database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, which is a federal executive body responsible for intellectual property in the Russian Federation.
Several trends were identified in the technical characteristics of patented solutions for infrared lenses: dominance of lenses designed for thermal imaging devices among the sample of infrared lenses; prevalence of lenses with relative apertures above 1:1.5; a value of 1:1 as a target indicator for the relative aperture of LWIR (long-wave infrared) lenses; trend towards increasing the relative aperture in new lens developments; predominance of infrared lenses with angular fields less than 30 degrees; emerging trend toward increasing the angular field; prospects for finding new original patentable solutions for infrared dual-spectral lenses; wide-angle infrared lenses, and lenses for coupling with cold sources of infrared radiation.
Keywords: patent research, optical characteristics, trends, thermal imaging lenses.

Development of an algorithm for detecting surface defects of rolled metal products for machine vision systems
The work presents the results of developing an algorithm for detecting surface defects in hot-rolled metal sheets for technical vision systems implementing the method of optical (laser) triangulation. The detection algorithm is implemented for a technical vision system based on a vision camera and a linear laser source. The results of experimental modeling are provided to determine the parameters of the optical detection scheme that meets the technological requirements of metal production. The experimental validation results of the detection algorithm for determining the sizes and locations of volumetric and planar surface defects are shown.
Keywords: technical vision system, surface defects, hot-rolled sheet metal, automated detection, image processing algorithms, laser triangulation method.
