Using printed circuit boards with circular contours as magnetic flux sensors to study the magnetic parameters of the cores of ball chains

The developed magnetic flux measuring sensors in the form of technologically advantageous (for measurements in small volumes: between contacting balls in a chain of balls) circular circuits on thin printed circuit boards allow obtaining data of the magnetic flux in the conventional cores of the chain of balls. Thus, new possibilities appear for the development of the model of channel-by-channel magnetization of the matrix from the filling of granules, i.e. such a matrix as a bundle of conductors-channels of magnetic flux formed along chains of granules. The data obtained from the data on the magnetic induction B in the cores of the relative radius r / R = 0,2-0,9 and their magnetic permeability μ for different chains of balls are presented. Magnetized in the solenoid by a field of strength H from 4,8 to 54,5 kA/m, the chains differed in the radius R of the balls (15 mm and 20 mm) and in the number n of balls in the chain (long with n = 12, when the demagnetizing factor of the chain is practically absent and short with n = 6, n = 4 n = 2). With increasing r / R, i.e. as the conditional cores thicken (and the concomitant increase in ), the values of B and μ decrease due to a decrease in the fraction of the ferromagnetics in the core, and the values of μ at r / R → 0,81,0 for all H converge to almost the same value. For chains differing only in the radius of the balls included in them, the complete mutual agreement (and hence the universality) of the corresponding dependences of B on r / R and μ on r / R is clearly demonstrated.

Magnetic variation station

The work is devoted to the description of the design of a new geophysical device ferrosonde component magnetovariation station, created on the basis of the developed measuring module. This station is designed to carry out geomagnetic work in various conditions both stationary observation points and for work in the field.

Thermal sensors on the basis of strongly compensated silicon and their functional possibilities

The research reflects the possibility of using strongly compensated silicon, which is a unique material for developing sensitive, thermistors and thermal sensors on the basis of various impurity atoms, which are of great practical interest, since such materials are of great interest for applying in measuring equipment.

Prospect for automated identification of globular dermatoscopy patterns in diagnostics of skin neoplasms

Here we demonstrate an automated detection of several diagnostically significant features in a sample of 80 dermatoscopic digital images of benign and malignant skin neoplasms by specially developed software. In 91 % of cases, image analysis did not require user intervention. Digitally obtained dermatoscopic characteristics confirmed the known differences between melanoma and melanocytic nevi: globules of two or more colors (OR=5.53), asymmetric distribution of globules (OR=4.78), globules varying in size (Exp(B)=2.4 for area coefficient of variation). The data collected by the automated algorithm can be used in promising medical decision support systems based on a modified pattern analysis.

System analysis in the study of the safety of the production of ultrapure gallium

The safety of the production of high-purity gallium is considered from the standpoint of system analysis and the energy-entropic concept of the nature of accidents. The model of the system person enterprise environment (PEE) is analyzed with the help of a structural-target model, and on the basis of expert estimates, the factors of influence of production safety are ranked. Priority measures are proposed to improve its level through organizational and technical solutions within the system.

Influence of morphology of thin Ni-Ge films on their magnetic properties

As a result of the studies, it was found that the features of the magnetic behavior of Ni-Ge films at low temperatures are associated with the effect of a transition layer formed between Ni and Ge, which is ordered antiferromagnetically or FM magnetically hard in the temperature range 40...60 K. the roughness of the boundary between FM and AFM layers or FM soft magnetic and FM hard magnetic layers.

Research of the measuring circuit of conversion the parameters of inductance coils into a phase signal

The article describes the scheme of an alternating current measuring circuit, which is used for separate measurement of the parameters of inductance coils by the phase method. The object of measurement is briefly considered, the possible values of inductance and quality factor are given, and the essence of their measurement by the phase method is described. Mathematical models of conversion of coil parameters into the phase shift angle between two sinusoidal signals are obtained, the sensitivity of conversion is analyzed, and features of calculation and selection of circuit parameters are considered. As an example, the measuring ranges of inductance Lx = 5100 mH and quality factor Q = 10100, for which the phase shift angle scale φ = 1080 is rationally used, are considered. It is shown that the maximum conversion sensitivity is obtained in the middle of the scale and decreases with distance from this mark, taking equal minimum values at the beginning and end of the scale.

Steps of modernization of means of metrological support of hygrometry

The article considers generators for the preparation of gas mixtures with a given moisture content, used in the calibration of hygrometers. Metrological characteristics and design parameters of generator elements are given.

Influence of the transverse component of the shaker on the results of verification and calibration accelerometers

This article presents the results of a study of the influence of the transverse component of the motion of the shaker on the result of calibration of accelerometers. As part of the work, research was carried out on the influence of the position of the sensor relative to the shaker on the verification result. The article also proposes an algorithm for positioning the vibration transducer, which allows to reduce the risks of making an unreliable decision when checking vibration sensors and can be recommended for modifying the methods for checking vibration transducers.
