Trusted boot solutions in computing life cycle

This article discusses the development of the components of the computing module, including the built-in information security tool that implements trusted boot mechanisms, which is traditionally called the hardware and software trusted boot module (APMDZ). Since the computer hardware is constantly improving the operating system (OS), the peripherals used, and even the composition of the computing module, this leads to the need for changes to the APMDZ in conjunction with the initial startup program (BIOS/BOOT/UEFI). A solution is presented to ensure the loading of a new version of the Linux OS for the Elbrus platform, taking into account the modification of the initial startup program and the application of a system reset signal. This solution allows you to change a certain type of APMDZ only to improve its functionality and without taking into account the appearance of new OS versions.

Keywords: trusted boot hardware and software module, initial startup program, computer upgrade, software update.

Analysis of the ODB++ format as a basis for a standard of data exchange of multilayer technical objects

The limitations of the ODB++ format in the context of data exchange between CAD systems are analyzed. Proposed extensions include additional attributes and integrated verification mechanisms, enabling the use of the format as a foundation for standardizing the transmission of data of multilayer technical objects, including design data. A mathematical model for evaluating the integrity and correctness of data conversion is also considered.

Keywords: design data exchange, ODB++, CAD/CAM integration, data verification, standardization.

Development of a static infrared Earth horizon sensors with orthogonal optical channels

The article presents the results of modeling a static Earth orientation device with an objective based on off-axis parabolic mirrors. The use of an objective with orthogonal optical channels allows the formation an image of opposite areas of the Earth's horizon on the sensitive layer of the array sensor. The proposed device design ensures the required orientation accuracy, reduces overall dimensions, and simplifies placement on the spacecraft body.

Keywords: spacecraft attitude determination, local vertical sensor, Earth horizon sensor, parabolic mirror, microbolometric array.

Adaptive System for Monitoring and Technical Diagnostics with Digital Data Processing Based on Signal Increment Analysis

An adaptive monitoring and technical diagnostics system has been proposed that dynamically reduces the redundancy of transmitted data by analyzing increments in monitored parameters. The system transmits channel status data only when the signal increment code changes, indicating either a significant change in input signal dynamics or a potential failure of the object under study.

Keywords: adaptive system, technical diagnostics, digital data processing, multichannel system, information-measuring system, redundancy reduction, increment analysis.

Development and verification of a mathematical model of the casting process of the «Body» part on the ProCAST platform

The article presents the results of the development and verification of a mathematical model of the casting process of the «Body» part in the ProCAST software package. The model is based on the solution of coupled equations of heat and mass transfer, hydrodynamics, and phase transformation kinetics, taking into account the thermal interaction in the «mold-casting» system. The purpose of the study was to predict the areas where shrinkage defects (porosity, non-fusion) occur, in order to optimize the technological process. The model's adequacy was verified by comparing the calculation results with data from a field experiment, which included X-ray and metallographic analysis of the castings. It has been established that the discrepancy between the predicted and experimental data on defect localization and thermal regimes does not exceed 8...10 %, which confirms the high accuracy of the model. A number of virtual experiments were carried out on the verified model to optimize the casting parameters (mold temperature, design of the sprues), which made it possible to exclude the formation of macro-pores in the castings. The effectiveness of using CAE-modeling (computer-aided engineering) to replace expensive full-scale tests in the development of production of complex thin-walled castings is shown.

Keywords: mathematical modeling, ProCAST, model verification, shrinkage porosity, heat and mass transfer, casting optimization, Niyam criterion, and finite element analysis.

Evaluation of the noise immunity of contact and contactless methods for registering a radio signal profile

A promising method for determining the technical condition of electronic devices is radio wave diagnostics, the main of which is the analysis of the signal radio profile – the unique electromagnetic response of an electronic device to a sudden change in supply voltage and the resulting oscillatory redistribution of energy in concentrated and parasitic oscillatory circuits forming an equivalent circuit of the device. Radio wave diagnostics is divided into contactless, in which the radio profile obtained by receiving side electromagnetic radiation is analyzed, and contact, in which the signal radio profile is recorded as the current consumption of the device under study. An important issue facing radio wave diagnostics is the experimental determination of the noise immunity of the above-mentioned radio profile recording methods, since the electronic device under study can function in a complex electromagnetic environment.

Keywords: radio wave diagnostics, signal radio profile, contact registration, noise immunity, electromagnetic interference, diagnostics of electronic devices, current consumption, correlation analysis.

Assessment of the metrological reliability of flow meters based on time series analysis

The paper demonstrates the implementation of computational and experimental methods for analyzing time series for subsequent forecasting of the drift of metrological characteristics of measuring instruments. Based on the results of studies of the Promass 83 mass flowmeter in the period from 2015 to 2024, an algorithm for selecting a predictive model of changes in metrological characteristics is proposed, which allows assessing the probability of metrological failure of the rate of change of the standard deviation of correction coefficients for flow points in the operating range. The high accuracy and efficiency of the proposed solutions are demonstrated.

Keywords: mass flow meter, forecasting models, time series, drift of metrological characteristics.
