Pneumatic pulse converter

A principal pneumatic circuit of a pulse converter is considered, the difference of which is the simultaneous displacement of the front and rear edges of the input pulse in the direction of decreasing its duration. Unloading of capacities of aperiodic links occurs almost instantly, which does not distort the front and rear edges of the pulses at the output of the pulse converter.

Automated eight-channel phantom electroencephalogram simulator

This paper describes an automated eight-channel ultra-low voltage signal generator used as a phantom-simulator of human electroencephalogram (EEG). The phantom simulator is needed in the development and testing of electroencephalographs, neurointerfaces, brain-computer interfaces, or other systems for recording weak biological signals. Schemes and results of experiments are given. The obtained artificial EEG correlates with the original one with a coefficient of 0,70,9, which indicates the applicability of this scheme for the tasks.

Automated mobile device for recording intrapleural pressure and air flow

The problem of automation of data collection and accounting during diagnostics and control of intrapleural pressure and air flow in case of insufficient lung tightness is considered. The structure of the developed mobile device for collecting information about the patient's condition is presented. Shows the stages of software development for this device. The results of the project are presented.

Humidity control instrumentation during hydrothermal processing of grain and products of their processing

The article discusses the hydrothermal properties of grain (wheat) and describes its behavior during hydrothermal processing, to optimize the technological properties of flour, cereals and animal feed, the effect of humidity on the storage conditions of grain and products of their processing. The moisture content in the grain, which is one of the main indicators of quality, is discussed. In this regard, it is recommended that the control of technological processes of grain processing involving the control and regulation of humidity at all stages, from the procurement of raw materials, to storage and shipment of finished products. The problems of the development of grain moisture control instruments, both in the field and in the laboratory, with the proposed metrological characteristics, are discussed.

Technological methods for increasing the accuracy of pendulum accelerometers of inertial accuracy class during their mass production

Technological methods are outlined aimed at improving the accuracy of the operation of pendulum quartz accelerometers as primary information sensors as part of aviation strapdown inertial navigation systems (SINS) and including: a technique for the technological running-in of serial devices after assembly; a technique for monitoring the output characteristics of serial devices in conditions close to operational; a methodology for algorithmic compensation of the systematic component of the temperature error of the device as part of the SINS.

Measuring complexes for field experiments. Methods and Results

The article presents examples of the development and application of measuring systems and installations that automate the process of experimental research and in-situ measurements. All work was carried out at the Institute of Physical and Technical Problems of the North of the SB RAS at different time periods.

An automated measuring system for full-scale testing of pipe segments and pressure vessels was created with the aim of studying the laws of brittle fracture of carbon steels at low temperatures. The destruction of the object of study was due to the expansion of freezing water in a closed volume. With the help of this complex, new data were obtained that made it possible to identify and describe the laws of steel failure and crack branching under the influence of both cyclic and monotonic loads at low temperatures.

About some management features in the scheme air heat pump-electric heater for the purposes of energy efficiency

To increase the efficiency of heat supply, depending on the requirements for the level of thermal comfort and technical and economic solutions in the individual heating system, there may be a combination of independent heating units with different designs.

A combined heating system may consist of two or more heat generation sources. This article analyzes the operation of the air heat pump electric heater system in a wide range of ambient temperature changes. The heat pump system consists of two circuits: the heating system circuit-water with a temperature of 30...35 C (for Underfloor heating or fan coil) and the heat pump circuit (working body freon R407). The heating system works together with a buffer capacity (B) of 200...300 liters, receiving a heat carrier from it, the thermostat, being in the room, reflects the room temperature through a sensor in the buffer capacity, turning on/off the air heat pump (AHP).

The use of air heat pumps together with other renewable energy sources (RES) devices and high efficiency heating equipment together with digital control systems is a promising European trend that continues to increase in the face of rising prices of traditional energy carriers. Heat pumps (HP) of the air-water type are becoming more popular.

The method of determining the temperature of the coolant in the liquid thermostat when implementing the phase transition of sodium hardening in the miniature ampoule of the reference point with a weight of 0.4 grams

Method of determining actual temperature of heat carrier using reference point of sodium solidification in a miniature ampoule and multi-solder differential thermocouple is proposed and experimentally tested. The technique allows determining non-uniformity of the temperature field in the working volume of the thermostat as well as instability of the set temperature.

The reference equipment for measuring melting point and purity of organic substances

The article describes the new reference equipment for determination of melting point and purity of organic substances in the range from +40 to +250 . Equipment is based on the cryometric method and was originally designed for purity measurement by the analysis of the melting curve. The article reviews a composition, structure and characteristics of equipment, describes the processing algorithm developed to determine a melting point and purity of organic substances from the data obtained during the measurement process. Experimental results of this scientific work show the efficiency of created reference equipment for further research of organic substances, which are planned for use as standards of melting point and purity.
